Using digital filter technology, the EW3109 is able to obtain a blood pressure that isolates only sounds needed from the artery without being skewed by other noises. This results in an exceedingly accurate blood pressure and avoids painful over-tightening of the cuff. Up to 90 blood pressure/pulse readings are stored in the monitor's memory, which helps when keeping track of readings that you may want to share with your physician.
